Typically, a vacation is all about relaxing away from the stresses of everyday life. But one can only do so much lounging around before they start longing for excitement. That’s no problem if you’re vacationing in Myrtle Beach though, because we have some of the best sports complexes/events in South Carolina. If you don’t feel like exercising, but still want an exciting night out, going to see a Myrtle Beach Pelicans baseball game is the perfect option.
The Pelicans started in 1999 as the newest edition to the well-known Carolina League, and have been the stuff of legends ever since. For example, their very first season was cut short by the unprecedented Hurricane Floyd. Because of this, they were named the co-champions with the Wilmington Blue Rocks - an impressive feat for a team’s first season.
The Myrtle Beach Pelicans box office is open Monday - Friday from 10 am - 5 pm and Saturday 10 am - 2 pm - on non-game days, and Monday - Saturday 10 am - end of ballgame, Sunday 12 am - end of ballgame on game days. Advance tickets are $11, and game day tickets are $13.
