Called a high energy show from start to finish, The Carolina Opry combines a delightful 2-hour mix of dance, music, comedy, light, costume changes, and sound effects. Audiences of all ages enjoy the classic pop music, country, rock and roll, gospel, and bluegrass, to name a few. Fresh and lively each time, the show's production stays current and modern. For example, one of the acts recently was All That, a troupe of urban cloggers who appeared on the hit TV show America's Got Talent appeared on the Myrtle Beach stage for the Carolina Opry. Open since 1986, the Opry continues its run of three shows weekly, now with the addition of its newest show called Good Vibrations, a beat generation theme based on music of the '60's, '70's, and '80's. Again, typical of a Calvin Gilmore production, this show also has plenty of lively entertainment for audiences of all ages.
