Watermelon Basil Punch for Hot Vacation Days
Mix 2 cups watermelon (pureed with 1/4 cup water/strained), 6010 fresh basil leaves, 3 ounces of simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water simmered and cooled), splash of clear soda, 6 ounces vodka (optional), 2 ounces lime juice, fresh strawberries (frozen will do), fresh strawberries and basil leaves for garnish. Combine, pour, and garnish. Makes four servings.
