Salute from the Shore
An Air Force C-17 "Globemaster III" transport plane flew down the coast from Myrtle Beach to Hilton Head Island during the Salute From the Shore event on July 4th. The plane was organized as a low-level flyover along the SC coastline as an Independence Day salute to our overseas troops by a non-profit, grassroots group. Over 7 coastal cities in 45 minutes: Myrtle Beach, Garden City, Pawleys Island, Sullivans Island, Edisto Beach, Beaufort, Hilton Head Island.
