If you’re headed to Myrtle Beach, you’re probably excited about relaxing on the beautiful SC beach. But you can only have so much fun in the sun, and what happens if you get a sunburn? No worries, just take a visit to Franklin G. Burroughs, Simeon B. Chapin Museum on Ocean Blvd.
This highly-respected art museum has visual art exhibits such as Norman Rockwell’s Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn exhibit. It also specializes in southern art collections and has a library complete with classroom space.
The Art Museum of Myrtle Beach is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-4pm, and Sunday from 1am-4pm. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated, and help keep this important museum running.
