  • Is my personal information and credit card information safe with SeaSide?

Absolutely safe. SeaSide maintains the utmost privacy and protection for its guests. If you see any unauthorized charges on your credit card, please report them to the bank that issued your credit card. 

  • What is your cancellation policy?
For reservations booked directly through SeaSide, the below cancellation policies apply. Please refer to your reservation confirmation if you booked through a third party website or provider.
Reservations arriving March - November: If a cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to arrival, a cancellation fee of 10% of the total deposit or $30, whichever is higher, will be assessed plus taxes. If a cancellation is made 14 days or less, prior to the arrival date, the entire deposit is forfeited. Sorry, there are no refunds for early check-outs.
Reservations arriving December - February: If a cancellation is made more than 72 hours prior to arrival, a cancellation fee of 10% of the total deposit or $30, whichever is higher, will be assessed plus taxes. If a cancellation is made inside 72 hours of arrival, the entire deposit is forfeited. Sorry, there are no refunds for early check-outs.
Prepay & Save Cancellation Policy: This special rate is nonrefundable. No changes or cancellations are allowed. 
Monthly Reservation Cancellation Policy: If a cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus tax is assessed. If cancellation is made 30 days or less prior to arrival date, the entire $300 deposit is forfeited. Sorry, there are no refunds for early check-outs.
Golf Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is made outside of 14 days prior to arrival date, there will be a cancellation fee of $20 plus tax per golfer cancelled. If a cancellation is made 14 days or less prior to arrival date, a fee of $100 plus tax will be assessed per golfer cancelled barring any fees that might be assessed by the hotel or any of the courses scheduled to play. Golf must be cancelled 72 hours in advance, per tee time, in order to not be charged for the golf. In case of rain, golfers will be issued a rain check from the golf course. No refunds will be given for inclement weather. Sorry, there are no refunds for early checkouts.
  • Is my room card "key" at SeaSide coded with my personal information (i.e., credit card, address, etc.), and if so, can I use the room card to charge purchases here at the resort?

None of your personal information, credit card information, or any information about you or your group is electronically stored on the room card. The room card cannot be used for any purchases. Its electronic information only relates to opening the door of the unit that you booked. If you lose the room card, immediately notify the front desk agent who will invalidate the previous card and issue a new one to use to open your door. After you check out, that card is null and void anyway and does not even open the door. 

  • Do you accept contactless payments at check-in?

Yes! We accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.

  • What are the business hours at SeaSide?

Reservations – 7 AM to 11PM (7 days a week). 
Property Front Desk and Security – 24 hours
Check-In – 4 PM
Check-Out – 11 AM

  • If our unit is not ready when we arrive, what do we do?

The unit will be ready for you at 4 PM when you check in. If you expect to arrive earlier, ask the front desk if the unit can be available before 4 PM. If not, please feel free to use the amenities at SeaSide until your 4 PM check-in (options include but are not limited to enjoying the pool and pool amenities, the beach and much more).

  • Where can I obtain a street map of the area with nearby landmarks on it?

If you use Google or MapQuest to find our location, be sure to use the entire address including zip code. Otherwise, you might be given information to a different and incorrect location. Many street names and numbers in Myrtle Beach are the same in North Myrtle Beach.

  • Where can I get a list of rates for SeaSide room types?

See our website: www.SeaSideMB.com. Then see the section at the top labeled "Reservations" Select the dates and number of people to gain a price quotation for various available room types and prices for those dates.

Our accommodations are priced based on availability which changes as people make their reservations or leave after their stay. Availability tends to be low during the popular warm-weather months of summer and high during the less-traveled times, but this can change, too, when golfers make reservations (any time, especially during the fall and spring), specialty groups such as weddings and reunions reserve blocks of rooms, and so on. Our reservation agents recommend that, before booking, you decide when you want to come to the beach and what you want in beach accommodations. Then talk with our agents who can find you the lowest prices available at that date.Return to top

  • What is the difference between oceanfront (OF) and ocean-view (OV)?

Oceanfront means that your view out to the ocean looks directly onto the water without turning your head. You see the water directly in front of you.

Ocean view means that your view to the ocean looks north or south up the coastline. You see the coastline, the beach, and the ocean in your view. Some views are from the side or at an angle, and you must turn your head. Others are directly ahead.

  • How many beds are in a 2-bedroom unit?

The maximum number of people able to sleep in a typical two-bedroom unit at SeaSide is 8 (2 queen beds per bedroom). Return to top

  • What appliances and serving utensils are in the kitchen?

Stove, microwave, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, and regular drip coffee maker. Pots, pans, mixing bowls, serving bowls, cooking utensils, eating utensils, drinking cups, plates, coffee cups, saucers. Paper products are not provided. All units have clothes washers and dryers.   • Are linens and towels provided?

Each guest receives a supply of clean linens and towels in the unit. The housekeeping policy is to replace used linens and towels with fresh ones if a guest stays four days or more.

Linens and towels include bath towel, wash cloth, hand towel, bath rug, bed sheet, blanket, pillow, bedspread, mattress pad, shower curtain.  Also, a dish towel is included in the kitchen. Return to top

  • Does SeaSide have laundry facilities?

Yes. Units have washers and dryers or washer/dryer combo unit. Return to top

  • Should I bring an ironing board?

There is no need to bring an ironing board and iron with you to the beach because either the unit is equipped with ironing equipment or you may request the equipment when you make the reservation, check-in, or during your stay. Return to top

  • Is there wifi available for me to use with my laptop computer?

Yes, free wifi is available. If you bring a laptop or other computer, you can use the internet access here at the resort. Return to top

  • What is the temperature of the air / water during my stay at the resort

If weather affects your stay in some way, be sure to check the forecast either before you make the reservation or before you leave home. We experience occasional weather fronts (hot or cold), but on average the Grand Strand area enjoys about 215 days of sunshine during the year with the following average temperature ranges (Fahrenheit) for air and ocean water:

Water temperature — approximately 50+

Air temperature — 66 to 82
Water temperature — 57 to 69

Air temperature — 82 to 94
Water temperature — 77 to 83

  • What is the height of your parking garage?

The garage clearance height is 6 feet 1 inches, with the open overflow lot located beside the parking garage for oversized vehicles. Return to top

  • Is there motorcycle parking, bike parking or trailer parking available at the resort during Harley Bike Weeks or the Atlantic Beach Bike Festival?

Motorcycles are permitted on the 1st floor of our parking garage only and in our overflow parking across the street. Trailers of any type are not permitted on property or the lot across the street. Please CLICK HERE to read our full Bike Policies.


  • How close are you to things to do?

Centrally located in North Myrtle Beach within 30 minutes of most local attractions, shopping and within walking distance there are 10 restaurants. We are just a couple of blocks from Main Street, North Myrtle Beach, which boasts numerous restaurants, bars and attractions. Return to top

  • What is there to do during the winter? Do stores, restaurants, and points of interest close during the cooler months?

Being a beach-focused area, the Grand Strand does have many amusements and sights targeted to summer temperatures, so, yes, during winter you will see some attractions that are closed during winter, especially those featuring water activities. However, the area is home to many year-round residents who enjoy the same activities and sights as you do. Therefore, you will find that year-round entertainment and amusements, stores, restaurants, and many others things to see and do are not only open, but remain fresh and updated with new events, menus, and other attractions. Additionally, many seasonal events add to the list of exciting things to see and do. Return to top

  • Is breakfast included?

Breakfast room is located on the 6th floor. Adults: $4.50, Children: $2.50. Includes cereals, milk, yogurt, eggs, sausage, biscuits, fruit cups, waffles, danish, bagels, coffee and more. Room can be booked with or without breakfast included.

  • Do you accept pets?

Pets are not permitted with the exception of service animals. Return to top

  • We are aware of your no-pet policy, but our dog/cat is small and very well trained. Can you make an exception?

  • Do you provide pool towels or beach towels?

The resort provides pool towels at the pool. Pool towels are not to be taken to the beach, and we do not provide beach towels. Return to top

  • Do you have beach umbrellas?

The resort does not provide beach umbrellas or chairs but are available for rent from the lifeguards during season, (after Memorial Day and before Labor Day). Return to top

  • Do you provide beach chairs?

The resort provides poolside chairs but does not provide beach chairs. All resort pool furniture must remain at the pool area and may not be taken to the beach. Return to top

  • Does the property allow smoking on the premises?

No smoking allowed in the unit or on the balcony. If there are signs of smoking, a $150 fine will be charged. Ground floor garage to 4th floor garage has designated areas for smoking. Return to top

  • What time does the ocean close, and what are other limitations for use of the beach?

The beaches are public and remain open at all hours, any day of the week, for your enjoyment within the limits of the laws of the community. Swimming far beyond the shoreline or over shoulder-depth is limited to approval by the on-duty lifeguard. Other restrictions include limitations on swimming near piers, prohibiting sleeping on the beach between 9 PM and sunrise, certain styles of bathing attire, using glass containers/bottles on the beach, and possessing/consuming alcohol on the beach.   • What is the alcohol policy on the beach?

  • Where are my favorite stores (FAQ's include Starbucks, Wal-Mart)?

To find a preferred store or retailer nearest to SeaSide, use that store's online locater service. For example, go to the websites for your favorites (example, Starbucks andWal-Mart), and find their "store locator" information. Return to top

  • How do I get my mail?

If you receive mail in care of the property, you can claim it at the front desk. Ask the front desk agent at SeaSide for details. Return to top

  • What airlines fly into Myrtle Beach?

  • What public ground transportation is available to/from the airport?

The Myrtle Beach Airport offers both shuttle service and local taxi service to/from the resort. Taxi service is charged on a per-mile basis with variable rates for the amount of luggage, etc. The booking for the shuttle service is available online, and charges can vary, as well.   • Can I plan my wedding to be held on the beach?

Please check local laws before reserving or paying for any part of your beach wedding. Let SeaSide assist you with your wedding plans - contact our Group Sales Office for details. Return to top

  • Can we have fireworks on the beach?

It is illegal to light and launch fireworks without a permit on the beach in North Myrtle Beach. If you have any questions, be sure to consult the related jurisdiction. Return to top

  • What do you do for a jellyfish sting?

Most jellyfish stings are not fatal, but each person reacts differently. Be on the safe side and seek first aid if you or anyone you know has received a jellyfish sting. Emergency assistance might also be in order if the patient experiences difficulty breathing or other problems. Seek medical help immediately.

While waiting for assistance, flush the site of the sting with vinegar to stop the nematocysts from releasing their toxins. Do not rub the area. Do not apply fresh water, ice, or hot water. If the area is bleeding, allow bleeding to continue to flush out the wound. A pink color to the site is normal, but toxins affecting the site could change the skin color. In that case, seek immediate emergency assistance. Return to top

  • Is the Atlantic Ocean near you?

SeaSide is an oceanfront property, meaning that you can reach the ocean with a short walk from your condo to ground level, down the boardwalk, across the sand to the water. Even with tidal variations, you are not far from the water. Return to top

  • Do I need a license to fish, either on shore or on the pier?

As of July 1, 2009, individuals recreationally fishing from shore (beach, bank, private dock, free public pier, etc.) and those recreationally shrimping and crabbing will be required to have a saltwater recreational fishing license. For additional information, fees and etc., please visit the S.C. Department of Natural Resources. Return to top

  • If we catch fish, are the fish here edible?

Some anglers enjoy the catch-and-release activity of fishing. Others fish for food and bait. Yes, most fish from the ocean are edible. If you have any question at all, ask for more information from the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources which issues consumption advisories. Return to top

  • Are we within walking distance to attractions or do we need a rental car? 

SeaSide is not within walking distance to any attractions in North Myrtle Beach. You would need a taxi or rental car. Return to top

  • How far away are we from the airport?

  • How much are shuttle or taxi fares from/to the airport?

  • Does the resort have a shuttle bus to any attractions or to the airport?

While SeaSide does not offer its own shuttle service, the front desk agents can tell you about modes of transportation including Lymo (transportation service around the City of North Myrtle Beach), rental of a vehicle or motorbike, even rental of a golf cart (check local jurisdictional restrictions).   • Are your pools heated and when do we start heating them?

Our indoor pool and lazy river is heated year round. The outdoor pools are heated from end of Februay until season begins, and mid-fall until November. We don't heat outdoor pools November through February. For details, consult the front desk agent at SeaSide. Return to top

  • Can I cook on my balcony?

No cooking, grilling, or barbequing is allowed on the balconies at SeaSide at any time. Anyone found violating this safety ruling may be fined by the City of North Myrtle Beach as well as the resort. Return to top

  • Why aren't the check-in time and the check-out time at the same time?

In order to ensure that guests will have well-cleaned and sanitized condominium units, we require time between the last departure and the next arrival to perform the cleaning services. If you think you will arrive earlier than the check-in time, please inform the front desk agent who can contact you on your cell phone if the unit is available earlier than its check-in time. Please feel free to ask for this service; if we can comply, we will try. Return to top

  • Since I am not checking in until 4:00 PM, can I stay until 4:00 PM on my check out date?

SeaSide requires the check-out time so that our staff can prepare for the next guests. However, if you know you will have a delay in checking out at the prescribed time, 11:00 AM, please alert the front desk agent of your delay and the reason before the day of check out, if possible.   • Should I worry about hurricanes at SeaSide, especially during summer and fall?

The good news is that, on average, hurricanes are seldom a problem here, but being prepared is the best policy. SeaSide has a preparedness plan for hurricane season, officially from June 1 to November 30. Any hurricane is a major event and not to be ignored. Both local residents and guests should pay attention to the weather reports (www.nhc.noaa.gov) and to authorities' directives. SeaSide tracks hurricanes closely and provides its guests with at least five days' warning. The likelihood of a hurricane here in North Myrtle Beach is minimal, but SeaSide remains vigilant and ready to implement our plans if need be. Return to top

  • Do you welcome children at the SeaSide?

Absolutely, children are encouraged. During the summer months (June - Labor day) when children visit us during their summer vacations, we offer a wide variety of activities and adventures around and on the beach and pool areas. We also offer many discounts to the area's attractions that are specifically interesting to children of all ages. Our suites are also well suited to children because of their architectural designs allowing children a wonderful and safe view from the windows, plenty of places to roam in the units, and interesting places to play around the property and on the beach.   • What clothing should I pack for my visit to the beach?

People tend to wear shorts, t-shirts, sandals or flipflops, and bathing suits during the warm months. Some bring one or two pairs of slacks for the men and dresses for the women for special occasions or cooler evening hours. For those outings on the ocean in a boat, you might want a light jacket or wind-breaker. For other months with cooler temperatures, consider packing layers so that you can adjust to be comfortable in our climate changes. Return to top

  • How can I secure my valuables in my unit while I am a guest at SeaSide?

You may request a condominium unit with a safe, subject to availability. Otherwise, for securing valuables, ask your front desk agent we have safety security boxes available at the FD for refundable fee $50.00 (in case the key isn't returned). Please note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen items while staying at the resort or parking garage. Please make sure that upon vacating your condominium unit you have thoroughly checked for any misplaced items. Return to top

  • Whom do I contact if I lose or forget an item?

  • What is the Age requirement?

  • Can someone else pay for the room? Do I need to bring their credit card?

What we would need is a credit card authorization form filled out with a front and back copy of their driver's license and credit card, faxed back to us. Return to top
