Our team at SeaSide Resort knows how to make the most of a summer day by the shore—and we’re always happy to share a few insider tips! For a peaceful start to your morning, head to the beach early. It's the perfect time to catch a breathtaking sunrise, enjoy a quiet moment with a coffee in hand, or hunt for seashells while the tide’s still low. If you're traveling with kids, early mornings also make for ideal sandcastle-building conditions before the beach gets busy.
As for the weather—don’t be surprised if it changes quickly! It’s totally normal for the sun to shine one minute and for a quick rain shower to pass through the next. It’s all part of the coastal charm, so we recommend dressing in light layers and keeping your beach towel or cover-up handy just in case.
And of course, no trip is complete without soaking up some local fun. This season, be sure to check out the Summer Concert Series during Music on Main for live music and family-friendly vibes, and don’t miss the weekly fireworks at Barefoot Landing—always a guest favorite for a magical end to a beach day!
